Assessment
Instruments

Everyone seeks to find their own comfort zone as they go about their
daily activities, whether they are in professional, personal or family
situations. The assessment instruments offered by the Gatton College
of Business and Economics at the University of Kentucky are designed
to provide insights about yourself and your team members.
The Personal
Profile System presents a plan to help you understand yourself and
others in a specific environment. You are the central focus as you heighten
understanding of your behavioral profile and identify the environment
most conducive to your success. At the same time, you learn about the
differences of others and the environment they require for maximum productivity
and teamwork in the organization.
The Hogan Career Builder
The Hogan Career
Builder Inventory Record provides managers and executives with an in-depth
evaluation of their personality as it relates to leadership, teamwork,
interpersonal relationships, creativity and potential. In addition,
this on-line assessment is unique because it links the leaders
competency evaluation to proven learning and development recommendations.
The Career Builder report is essential for current and future leaders
engaged in corporate development initiatives, coaching programs, and
management transitions.
The Myers Briggs Indicator
The Myers-Briggs
Indicator Type is for individuals to assess themselves and their
selected styles in both personal and work lives. All assessments for
individuals are confidential. Individuals will discuss the results with
a certified instructor. An action plan is created for each individual.
The Team Building Assessment
The Belbin Approach
The instrument,
Interplace IV, was developed by Dr. Meredith Belbin at
the Henly Management College in Great Britian. This computer-based system
is designed to specifically understand team role characteristics and
the critical influence they exert on organizational and management functions
and results.
